The live journal archive provides access to published articles. A DOI identifies and links to a scholarly record; registration is not itself a preservation deposit. Search visibility also does not establish long-term preservation. Libraries can request journal-specific coverage or deposit information from the publisher.
Maintaining the publication record
Published articles and any correction or retraction notices should remain linked and clearly identified. Preservation participation must be supported by actual coverage and deposit records; a service homepage alone is not a journal deposit receipt.
