About JCAC

The Journal of Contemporary Art Criticism (JCAC) is an internationally oriented, peer-reviewed journal that critically engages with the dynamic intersections of contemporary art, sport cultures, and societal transformation. By transcending traditional disciplinary boundaries, JCAC facilitates innovative dialogues between creative practices, physical disciplines, and their political, technological, and ecological contexts.

Published by the Asia Technology Research Institute (ATRI) and led by Prof. Dr. Hao Liu of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the journal is committed to amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering research that challenges conventional frameworks. We welcome contributions that investigate a diverse range of themes, particularly those that explore the intersection of art, sport, and societal transformation.
