The convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and urban development is fundamentally reshaping how people live, work, and interact within metropolitan spaces. This Special Issue, aligned with the journal's mission, addresses the critical need to examine AI Urbanism not just through a technological lens, but also considering its profound impact on social equity, cultural heritage, and human identity. The transformation demands a critical look at how intelligent systems integrate into the complex tapestry of urban life.

We seek groundbreaking research that explores this transformation through an ethical and socio-cultural lens. Contributions should detail how intelligent systems and data-driven policies affect urban planning, governance, and the preservation of unique cultural identities. This platform is designed to foster cross-disciplinary dialogues that yield new theoretical insights, sustainable policy implications, and practical solutions for creating truly human-centric smart cities.

We invite original submissions exploring the socio-cultural, ethical, and governance aspects of AI-driven urbanism. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
